Easter

I normally don't try to catch up on events I missed, but I had the opportunity to take pictures off the camera today and these need to be recorded. We had a great Easter this year - not very big, but very nice nonetheless.
I owe a big thank you to Ilene and Angela who came and helped the kids color the eggs. I have done this every year and it is usually just Robert and I. This year, however, all of the kids had a blast (I was a little jealous when I saw the cute pictures). I store my eggs are on the top shelf of the fridge, thankfully, because Ginny is now convinced that they are balls which need to be thrown. I'm just grateful she hasn't really been all that into climbing!
Our Easter bunny kept with a Speed Racer theme this year for the boys. As you can imagine, Ben really liked Josh's racetrack and Josh idolized Ben's Mach 5 model ... and they both wanted Robert's video game! Dad and Robert took turns with the boys running the race track and seeing if they could flip those little cars clear out of the track. Sadly, that type of toy doesn't last very long around here. By Mother's Day, Josh has lost most of the track pieces and I'm not really sure where they have gone ... the house just isn't that big!

Ginny has played with her magnetic dress-up doll set every chance she gets. Josh likes to show her how to use it and Ben likes to run off with which ever article of clothing he can grab, so it has become a real family affair when the doll comes out.

We had a lovely Sunday service at church and came home to play and eat even more chocolate. I still have to clean a couple of jelly beans out of the carpet where Ginny decided to grind them rather than put them in the garbage, but overall it was a fun family day!
